Family Sponsorship Class

Family Class Sponsorship enables You to sponsor some family members or relatives if you become a Permanent Resident or Citizen of Canada. Provided that you are at least 18 years old and you will provide for their needs upon arriving, also you should be a Citizen or a Permanent Resident.

• 1.You should be at least 18 years of age


• 2.You are a Canadian citizen or a Permanent Resident or if you are registered as an Indian under the Canadian Indian Act.


• 3.You should not be receiving social assistance unless you receive government help as a disabled person


• 4.You should provide the basic needs of the one you are sponsoring

Sponsor Extended Family Members

If citizens or permanent residents want to sponsor their parents, grandparents and great grandparents, they must be able to prove their ability to support those family members when they arrive in Canada. The requirement is that they be able to meet the LICO criteria plus 30% for the three years prior to applying and throughout the application process.
