What are Federal Skilled Trades Program processing times?

Most complete applications are processed within six months.

Who Gets Qualified For The Canadian PR Under Canada Federal Skilled Trades Program(FST)

• 1.The applicant must have a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 5 for Speaking and Listening and CLB 4 for Reading and Writing.


• 2.Should have at least 2 years of full-time work experience or an equal amount of part-time work experience in a skilled trade in the past 5 years.


• 3.Fulfill the job requirements for specific Skill Trade or need a Certificate of Qualification as a skilled Trader.


• 4.Must have a valid full-time job offer for at least 1 year or Certificate of Qualification in that skilled trade from the Canadian province or Territory.


• 5.There are No Educational Requirements for the Federal Skilled Trades program.


• 6.Must have enough settlement funds and also provide a valid medical examination and police verification certificate.
